Minimal items that prioritize "smartness" above all else. It does not come with a coin purse, and is designed to hold only banknotes and cards.
The beautiful contrast of the outside with indigo dyeing and the inside with Yamato creates a sophisticated yet simple look. The metal clip has an excellent grip and you don't have to touch it every time. If there is even one bill in the bag, the bills will slide against each other, allowing for smooth payment. It can neatly store around 15 banknotes, and it supports not only Japanese yen but also foreign polymer banknotes.
With 3 card slots, 1 back card pocket, and 1 flap, it has enough capacity to carry the bare essentials.
Because of the beautiful leather texture, this item will give you a familiar impression no matter where you carry it around the world.
Description
“Keep your silhouette intact.
A must-have item for a minimalist life”
Prioritize smartness
flexible flap
It's actually a convenient flap. The usability of the money clip changes greatly depending on whether or not this part is included.
Even if you hold multiple items such as receipts or Shinkansen tickets, the leather will not easily fall off due to the friction. Furthermore, by holding the edge of the bill between the metal clips with a flap, there is no sluggishness during checkout.
Small "attention" is the key to being smart.
Craftsman's pride
Layered leather parts. Those polished edges are due to the "cuts". This is an indispensable method for making Brooklyn Museum's leather items. Polish, add dye, and polish again... Repeat this process on all parts in the same way. Although it is a very time-consuming and inefficient method, the reason why we continue to use it for all parts is that it is a method that can withstand years of use.
No matter how much time it takes, they never make something that will easily tear or break - the pride of these craftsmen is reflected in the Brooklyn Museum's edges.
Original leather lining
The interior uses soft leather originally developed by the Brooklyn Museum. As the name suggests, it has a soft texture that is extremely pleasant to the touch, so your bills and cards won't get caught.
In addition, every part is made by pasting two pieces of soft leather together. The reason is simple: ``We want people to use it for a long time.''
The edges of each part, such as the card tiers and partitions, are polished and sewn using a sewing machine to prevent them from tearing or peeling.
play with sets
Especially if it's an effortless item, you want to have some leeway to play with colors when it comes to items that come in sets.
A tasteful selection of money clips and coin cases made from the same material. Of course, you can also have it in a different material or color.
The most important thing is to have the mental space to enjoy your favorite colors. Please enjoy the adult play that can only be done with Brooklyn Museum's color creations.
