About leather exchange

The cordovan wallet (left), which was originally beige,
After 10 years, it has aged like a jet black (right).

Brooklyn's Cordovan is a Brooklyn-specific development that is soaked with more oil than regular Cordovan.
By doing so, it has the great feature of ``combining supple strength and firmness''.

Even if it gets a little scratched, the base will not come out, and as time goes by, the unique shine will increase, and the more you use it, the more resistant it will be to friction and water, and it has the charm of being comfortable in your hands.
We named it "Gloss" Cordovan because it is two to three times stronger than cowhide leather and gains a beautiful luster over time.

“I thoroughly enjoyed the aging of Cordovan leather, butI would like to enjoy the red aging of the inner Yamato leather a little more.”
Due to this request, we decided to keep the inner Yamato leather and replace the outer leather Cordovan.

Outer leather: new cordovan
Inner leather: Yamato leather
In order to sew these two materials together, a new Cordovan layer is placed over the needle hole of the Yamato leather, and a blank sewing machine is used.
By using a blank sewing machine, you can secure the front and inside needle holes so that they do not deviate from each other.
In order to secure it in place, a fine needle is carefully inserted into each piece.

In order to keep the perforation line in place, drop the sewing machine needle one by one as you stitch, remove the needle, and start stitching again.

We will do this work all the way around your wallet.
