A color in harmony between orange and brown.
"Can you finish leather with natural dye?"
Persimmon astringent dyeing that started in 2003 with that heart.
I was born in an era when mass production and mass consumption became popular around the world.
While the harmful effects of air pollution and water pollution began to be shouted, I continued to ask what the leather industry could do.
"You should be able to make leather that can be used with more thoughts with natural things without load in the environment."
It is a leather completed after repeated prototypes with suppliers, and the creative creative like grain is the only in the industry.
The dye is a persimmon astringent that squeezes the immaturity of the astringent persimmon harvested while it is still blue.
Using everything, such as skin and wetness, it will be aged over the years like wine.
BROOKLYN MUSEUM persimmon astringent dyed leather
Instead of pickling leather to the persimmon astringent liquid, the pattern that looks like a grain is expressed in the palm of the hand by the inherited craftsmanship.
The process is to apply a persimmon astringent (a fermented persimmon compressed liquid) with a "brush" one by one, and repeats the work of applying it to sunlight. The number of dyed times is determined and adjusted by the condition of the raw skin, the temperature and humidity of the dyeing day.
By carefully repeating this work, the shades of the brush are designed, creating a unique brown "Japan Brown".
In order to apply it manually, it is finished in a leather that cannot do the same thing as two with different expressions. That is the real pleasure of persimmon astringent dyeing, and you can enjoy each product as one point.
Due to the natural, the colors and density vary depending on the season, and the straight brush is a creation by craftsmen cultivated for decades.
Light, soft, dyed
Change the expression with the sunlight,
Grow into a strong and gentle material.
Dyeing, which has been familiar to life in Japan for 1000 years, has met a full -vegetable tannin, which has met Japan Leather, Yamato, and has become a product that returns to the soil.
Because of tannin tanning, it is firm to start using it, but every time you use it, you will be moist and familiar with yourself.
By using it, you will deepen the color and spin a new story.
How to Care
We recommend Colonil 1909 Supreme Leather Lotion.
First, remove dust or dirt that is not visible in brushing, then remove a small lotion on a soft cloth and apply it to leather products evenly.
After applying, brush it and remove excess cream and make it gloss.
Please wipe dry with leather gloves for finishing.
After applying, lightly wipe with a soft cloth when removing the attached dust or fingerprint.
At this time, be careful not to wipe too much, as it may take away the oil of the leather.
The frequency of care depends on the condition, but please go once a year.
