Indigo dyed crocodile

Iconic leather

Tanner: Fujito Kogyo Office [SUMIDA -JAPAN]

Nile crocodile, which has a very high reputation around the world, with a well -balanced spots (scale pattern) and high -quality leather status among crocodile.
Because the size of one animal is small, the number of items that can be taken is very small.
If it becomes a long wallet, you can only create "one crocodile to one point", and you will sigh unintentionally.

The highly rarity nile crocodile is dyed with Japan's unique dyeing technology indigo dyeing, and is dyed in blue that is likely to be sucked.
Each spots (scale pattern) have an expression, and the shadows are no longer like art.
Over the years, repeated trial and error, the texture of outstanding Japanese technology has attracted many "leather lovers".

There are about 20 tanners with crocodile tanning technology. Six companies in Japan. You can see how rare it is compared to cowhide tanners, which are said to have tens of thousands of companies worldwide.

The reason why there are few crocodile tunners worldwide.
Anyway, it takes time and effort.

From the viewpoint of animal protection, the annual transaction count is limited, and the aquaculture itself requires years, but there are significant differences in the tanning process.
It takes several weeks to make the hard scale covering the body can be processed, and it takes three months to work non -stop by one crocodile.

When dyeing is dyed from a completely dry state after tanning, a process that requires high technology that is not allowed to go crazy. In particular, this indigo dyed crocodile was extremely difficult because it is a natural dye. Check the temperature, humidity, and various climate conditions every day, and fine -tune the dye.
It is the superior leather finished by the overwhelming amount of knowledge of tanners and the enthusiasm of craftsmen.

The indigo dyed crocodile, where the unevenness of the spots (patterns) emerges beautifully by the tanning process for a long time and the finishing process that requires skilled skills. The color is born, and the difference in aging between the unevenness gives the color depth.

In addition to the “rarity of materials”, which is increasing year by year, “advanced dyeing technology” is indigo dyed that is not allowed for only a few seconds. The thorough quality management of crocodile dyeing, which is considered to be difficult, in a more advanced dyeing method, and is allowed to be involved only by very limited craftsmen, enhances its value. I am.

The fact is that mass production is not possible, and the number of items that can be produced every year is limited.
It is a gem that you can enjoy the height of Japanese technology while feeling the goodness of the high texture itself.

How Care

We recommend Colonil 1909 Supreme Cream Deluxe.
First, remove dust or dirt that cannot be seen in brushing, then remove a small amount of cream on a soft cloth and apply it to leather products evenly. After applying, brush it to remove excess cream and get gloss. Wipe dry with leather gloves for finishing. At this time, be careful not to wipe too much, as it may take away the oil of the leather.
The frequency of care depends on the condition, but please go once a year.

For French calf bags, we recommend Colonil 1909 Supreme Protect Spray.

Sprinkle the container well, horizontally, and spray twice to the extent that the surface is lightly moist (4 seconds per 30cm square), about 20 to 30 cm away.
