BOX calf leather has been known as the highest quality of cowhide ever since it was developed in the late 19th century. Calf leather is originally characterized by its beautiful texture, but we carefully select leather with a smoother texture and fewer scratches to create BOX calf leather.
This leather imported from France is chrome tanned. This gives it the flexibility and elasticity unique to calf leather, and by embossing the surface at high temperatures, the leather surface becomes firmer, more resistant to scratches, less likely to lose its shape, and less susceptible to water penetration.
By pressing the water grain pattern shallowly, light is reflected diffusely, giving the BOX calf its unique lustrous luster and depth. Due to the careful processing, the color will remain the same and the luster will slowly increase little by little, creating an even more classy look.

The navy of the BOX calf is an original Brooklyn Museum color that was originally created with the intention of matching Weston's loafers. Nowadays, it is dead stock leather, and there are only a few items left. This BOX calf is finished with a dyeing technique that gives it a unique flexibility and transparency that cannot be achieved with the current raw leather condition. In order to maximize the luster and elegance, the stitching is intentionally made in the same color, making the material itself stand out even more.
As for aging, the more you use it, the more the luster will settle down and you will feel that it becomes familiar to you. A leather that gives a dignified look to various scenes.
