LWG (Leather Working Group) is an organization that meets high standards for environmental and social compliance and examines the impact on environmental protection and local conservation activities using international standards. The LWG certification is made up of leather-related brands, tanners, and drug manufacturers, and can only be obtained by companies that have passed a strict examination on energy and water usage, waste management, and working environment.
Luxury brands are now certified as a global standard.
[Sustainable Shrink Leather] was developed with Kosei Leather Industry Co., Ltd., a leather company that was the first in Japan to obtain LWG certification and is currently promoted to the highest Gold rank.
We have successfully applied "genuine shrink processing" to soft cowhide leather to create a soft luster that is different from smooth leather.
