The Leather Working Group (LWG) is an organization that assesses environmental and social compliance with high standards, evaluating environmental protection and regional conservation activities against international criteria. Composed of brands, tanneries, and chemical manufacturers involved in leather, LWG certification is only awarded to companies that pass stringent assessments across all criteria, including energy and water consumption, waste management, and labor conditions.
It is now a global standard, with luxury brands leading the way in obtaining this certification.

This "Sustaina Shrink Leather" was developed in collaboration with Hanei Hikaku Kogyosho Co., Ltd., the first leather company in Japan to acquire LWG certification and now elevated to the highest rank of Gold.
We succeeded in applying "authentic shrink processing" to soft cowhide, creating a soft luster different from smooth leather.
